Botox/Dysport- Targets the underlying cause of frown lines and crow’s feet the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting. Our clinicians at Spa 5 in Bristol, RI are all medical professionals specially trained in Botox administration.

Botox/Dysport  is an injectable form of botulinum toxin/abobotulinumtoxinA, which temporarily blocks chemical signals to the facial muscles, reducing muscle activity, and allowing the facial muscles to relax.  This creates a visible smoothing of crow’s feet and frown lines between your brows.

For crow’s feet your clinician will inject 3 area’s of the muscle that frames the side of each of your eye’s .  This temporarily reduces the activity of the muscle and results in a reduction in the appearance of the crow’s feet lines.

For frown lines your clinician will administer 5 injections into the muscles of your forehead.  This temporarily reduces the activity of the muscles reducing the appearance of those lines.

Your Spa 5 clinician will discuss your goals and perform a facial analysis for you. After a Botox / Dysport treatment, your results will last up to 4 months We typically recommend treatments every 3- 4 months

Botox for the treatment of hyperhidrosis:

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition that causes excessive sweating (perspiration) It usually affects the under arms, hands and feet.  Individuals with hyperhidrosis sweat excessively even when triggers like warm temperatures and anxiety are not present. They sweat profoundly, in cool temperatures and during periods of rest.

Botos blocks sweat glands activities, thus reducing sweating. It usually lasts six months to a year.  As a result, patients will require periodic injections of Botox to maintain the effects . This is a simple procedure with minimal discomfort and very popular for both men and women
