Botox/Dysport is an injectable form of botulinum toxin/abobotulinumtoxinA, which temporarily blocks chemical signals to the facial muscles, reducing muscle activity, and allowing the facial muscles to relax. This creates a visible smoothing of crow’s feet and frown lines between your brows.

For crow’s feet your clinician will inject 3 area’s of the muscle that frames the side of each of your eye’s . This temporarily reduces the activity of the muscle and results in a reduction in the appearance of the crow’s feet lines.
For frown lines your clinician will administer 5 injections into the muscles of your forehead. This temporarily reduces the activity of the muscles reducing the appearance of those lines.
Your Spa 5 clinician will discuss your goals and perform a facial analysis for you. After a Botox / Dysport treatment, your results will last up to 4 months We typically recommend treatments every 3- 4 months

How long does the procedure take?
The actual injection process typically takes about 10 minutes. Clients report that a Botox/ Dysport injection feels like a pinch. If concerned about pain, your Spa 5 clinician can apply topical numbing cream before treatment.
How long is the downtime?
Treatment requires minimal to no downtime. You can return to your normal routine immediately after your treatment. You nat experience some mild side effects like redness,swelling, itching , tenderness or bruising at the injection site following a treatment. These side effects are temporary and typically resolve on their own within a week of treatment. You should notice initial results within 24 to 48 hours and results can continue to improve for up to one month.
